Q: Do you do piercings?

A: Unfortunately, no, we do not do piercings


Q: How old do you have to be to get a tattoo?

A: GA Code § 16-5-71.1 prohibits the tattooing of anyone under age 18 by anyone other than a licensed osteopath or technician acting under the direct supervision of a licensed physician or osteopath. Also, GA Code § 16-12-5 states that it is unlawful to tattoo within an inch of the eye socket.

 

Q: Do you tattoo anyone under the age of 18 as long as they have parental consent?

A: No, even with parental consent, we do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18. 


Q: What are your shop hours?

A: Perpetual Roots Tattoo is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 11am to 7pm.


Q: Where are you located?

A: Our address is 4790 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Suite 107, Berkeley Lake, GA 30071.


Q: Do you take walk-ins?

A: While we cannot guarantee that you will be able to walk in and get a tattoo that day, we can at least get you scheduled for a consultation.


Q: What methods of payment do you accept?

A: We accept cash, debit and all major credit cards.


Q: How can I make an appointment?

A: If you are a new client, we advise that you schedule a consultation prior to booking a tattoo appointment. You can schedule a consultation by sending us an email so we can send you the consultation form or come in person and fill out the consultation form. At the end of your scheduled consultation, you will then be able to schedule a tattoo appointment by placing a deposit. If you are a returning client, you must first place a deposit in order to schedule a tattoo appointment. Tattoo appointments can only be made when a deposit has been placed.


Q: What is a consultation?

A: This is where you can meet with/talk with the tattoo artist to go over your ideas for the tattoo, talk about an estimate for the time it will take to complete the tattoo and talk about pricing for the tattoo.

 

Q: How much does a consultation cost?

A: Consultations are free.

 

Q: How do I schedule a consultation?

A: Please fill out the consultation form here or go to "Book Now" here on the website and click on "Consultation Form". If you are unable to access the form that way, please send us an email at aloha@perpetualroots.com, and we will send you the consultation form. Complete and submit the consultation form, and we will reach out to you to schedule a consultation. Once you submit your consultation form, someone will get back to you via email within 48 hours. You can also come into the shop and fill out the consultation form in person. 

 

Q: Do I need to go to the shop for the consultation?

A: You have the option to schedule an in-person consultation or a Zoom video consultation.

 

Q: Do I need to bring anything with me when I go in for my consultation, or send anything before doing my video/phone consultation?

A: We ask that you please send those via email/consultation form and send as many pictures/references as you can for what you have in mind. 


Q: How can I pay for my deposit?

A: In order to schedule an appointment, you must put down a deposit. Deposits can be paid in person using cash or card, or you can pay over the phone by card. Please see our deposit policy here for more info.


Q: What if I need to cancel/reschedule my tattoo appointment? Can I get my deposit back?

A: Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you please give us enough notice. Please see the deposit & cancellation policy here.


Q: How much does a tattoo cost?

A: Prices will vary with each artist, size, detail, time to complete, etc.
